  Welcome

We hope you find our website inspiring. It is intended to give you an insight into Crucible and the kind of work we carry out with our clients.

Crucible was founded by a group of people who wanted to run a good Qualitative Research Company as well as do good qualitative research for clients. We launched our "new small shop" offering thorough, enthusiastic, yet pragmatic approaches and solutions. Having our own business to run added an additional and motivational dimension.

Nearly twenty years on, those early ambitions and approaches are now well proven and still hold true today. We pride ourselves on a well run company that pays its bills and treats its suppliers, employees and clients with respect as working partners. Those who take the brief run the project. Directors conduct fieldwork and work together on projects, as well as involving and mentoring more junior executives and work experience students. We work in teams; 2 or more heads are always better than one and our teams also include like-minded colleagues in Europe and across the world.

Above all we have never seen our job as just "doing groups". Briefing and background, research methodology and preparation have always been key to making our interviewing sessions (wherever they are and whoever they are with) active and productive. Our interactive pooling and brainstorming analysis sessions are fundamental to producing the illuminating research solutions we offer our clients in dynamic and vivid presentations that really do help them see what they need to do next.
